Vanessa Linton 

I grew up in Durban, South Africa where I learned to appreciate the great outdoors and mostly, the beach.  After a few years in London, I moved to Australia in 1995 and embraced every part of Australian culture.  I love to watch people enjoying cafes, socialising and being in the great outdoors.  My work ranges from highly detailed coloured-pencil drawings to bold mixed-media paintings, often inspired by Australian coastal life, people and the everyday objects that hold meaning for us.  I'm drawn to creating art with personality, pieces that make you stop, look closer and ideally smile. Art can make a room feel complete and if it's meaningful to you, can bring you joy every day.
